Within each category, candidates are listed in alphabetical order on the website. Election of officers to one-year terms and of Board members to three-year terms, each beginning 1 January 2018, will be by vote of the membership, as specified in the bylaws.
Voting for the IEEE Computer Society's candidates begin on Monday, 7 August 2017 until 12:00 Noon EDT USA, Monday, 25 September 2017 . Candidate bio and position statements are published in the August Computer issue.
Only Computer Society members without an email address in their member record, or those who have opted out of IEEE email communications, will receive a paper ballot package. Those who receive paper ballots should return them by mail using the business reply envelope provided or to the IEEE Technical Activities, ATTN: SGA, 445 Hoes Lane, PO Box 1331, Piscataway, NJ 08855-1331, USA.
All other members will receive a broadcast email message from sender "firstname.lastname@example.org" with voting instructions to access their Web ballot package information and voting link: https://eballot4.votenet.com/IEEE. Members (undergraduate students are not eligible to vote) in all regions can vote via the Web at https://eballot4.votenet.com/IEEE.
